Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American singer and performer who made her name with witty hip-hop raps that addressed racial and sexual identities from a boldly comic perspective. Then she moved on to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was from the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she grew up. While at school, she studied journalism as well as women's studies in college even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. Her track in 2012 My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success on the Internet before settling on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. Other viral hits included the queef, a body positive song and the winking NYC Bitchehome tour, which cost $. The latter track was linked to her other venture, Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in 2015. She began pursuing acting career following the completion of her previous two endeavors, author and musician. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she has also appeared in films such as Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. She made her debut in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8, as well as Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she published the EP In Fina We Trust.
